Overall this machine is amazing. Ive had it for about a month now and have 95 hours of working time on it. The initial setup took me 3 hours and getting the mirrors aligned was tough but not impossible. The cameras inside the machine are superb. Let me get all the details perfect for any job.
This is a very good production machine. Excellent for cutting and engraving. Weve had a lot of fun with circular engraving!
I would like to see the option of changing how the engraving fills, I would like to do an island full instead of just lines but we are still learning the little features that it has.

I was hesitant about buying but after getting, I highly recommend. This laser has plenty of power, great cutting area and is fast. Ive had 0 issues so far and I highly recommend this to both beginners and people that have been using for a long time.
I've been using the xTool P2 for more than four months, putting it through numerous tests and projects to see how this powerful 55-watt CO2 laser performs and does it live up to the hype. I am not disappointed one bit.
The P2 is beginner friendly and easy to learn. I do recommend to follow the instructions and review the online video tutorials. Especially with the unpacking and initial setup and configuration/calibration process.
The P2 works with Xtool's XCS software and Lightburn. Xtool support is fast and reliable to help you through issues quickly.
After 4 months of using I have to say this is a fantastic machine and everything Ive wanted in a laser. I highly recommend for small crafters and pro-crafters.
From home crafting projects to small business custom jobs the P2 has the versatility to do it all. I previously purchased the M1 and while I loved that machine, I needed something that could fit bigger pieces (like cutting boards) and something that could get the job done faster. The P2 can do both. I am impressed with the workspace but also the way you can make even more space with the riser. With the fisheye camara you no longer have to worry about framing and if you get the air filter like you me you can cut projects without the lingering smell. I really do love this laser and all the possibilities it allows me to create.

So far I have been able to watch a great deal of how-to videos and get the results that I am after.
The learning curve is not bad and you can either just use it with very cheap files found off of craft sites or you can dive deep and use the new Vector graphics to create your own works in the software that the company provides.
If you are into other photo editing software you can do the work there and just import the file over. The layout software is easy to use and you can believe the videos online when they show you how easy it is to align your graphics to your work piece.
I has an older co2 laser that they never upgraded the software and it's not lightburn compatible. Therefore I was in the market for a new laser. This one is great. The software is really easy to learn. I can ve at work and design a project then once home cut it out.
I love the ability to cut 20 mm acrylic. You won't be disappointed with this laser.
